About Us

We are PorthouseDean…

Founded in 2012, PorthouseDean specialises in the production of structural calculations supplementary to building regulations applications.

Whilst our main focus is the development of low-rise dwellings (extensions, loft-conversions, and new-build), PorthouseDean also have a varied repertoire; having worked for numerous different clients over the years on lots of different projects.

At PorthouseDean our unique selling point (USP) is our reliability and the consistency of our offer. We implement rigorous data-led quality management processes to achieve this. These processes and procedures give our talented engineers the tools that they need to do their job efficiently, and to a suitable standard, every time.

Whilst the quality of the documents we produce is of the utmost priority, PorthouseDean realises that just as much value is delivered through a reliable customer service. That’s why we aim to respond to all support requests within 24 hours, and resolve them within 48 hours. We also aim to issue all quotes within 48 hours.

Our Mission

At PorthouseDean our mission is to be “best in class” in our field for every conceivable metric.

Whether this is the standard of our customer service, achieving the best value design for our clients, or career progression and the happiness of our engineers – whatever it is, we aspire to be the best.

The best businesses in this world are those that strive to understand the needs of their stakeholders. That is why PorthouseDean’s staff are trained to see things from the customer’s point of view – even when we may be subject to criticism – and to heed any concerns that may have been raised…

But our staff are also our stakeholders, and that is why we want to do as much as possible to ensure that they become well-rounded professionals who are equipped to deal with life’s challenges.

Our objective is to be here in the long term for our partners in the hope that they regard us as not only dependable, but indispensable to their ways of working, and intrinsic to their life objectives.
